I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I earned a Minor in Law, Bachelors in Child Development, Associates Degree in Human Services and Early Child Hood Education.
Experience
I have worked in the educational system for a number of years as a volunteer, a classroom aide, a one-one assistant, a substitute, and a classroom teacher. I want to be a tutor to help students feel successful in their academic work. Individual and small group instruction is so important to help students learn and become successful. I enjoy sharing those teaching and learning opportunities. I have passed the Praxis I and II and have taken the CBEST. I have taken many teaching courses, seminars and workshops. These have been both in person, live Webinars and computer based. I enjoy working with students of many different learning styles and differences. It is important for me that learning is fun and engaging.

Hobbies
Coaching youth sporting activities is a passion of mine. I enjoy creating supportive, engaging, training session that teach soccer, baseball, volley ball, basketball and more. It is great fun. I enjoy art, music and hands-on activities. Playing all sorts of games is one of my favorite past times.
